Having started at Dutton Moore as a young trainee, John has now accumulated extensive experience working with the SME sector. This ranges from advising start-ups, which have been nurtured from one-man operations to multi-million pound businesses, to audit and corporate finance work for much larger, established groups. John also has extensive experience in specialised audits such as charities and solicitors and is a member of the ICAEW special interest groups for both. More recently he has headed up the firm's academy audit team for which he holds a DBS Enhanced Criminal Records Certificate. Since 2014 he has been a Corporation Member at Wyke Sixth Form College and holds a certificate in Probate and Estate Administration. He and is also a past President of the Humberside & District Society of Chartered Accountants.
