Dutton Moore Trainee Accountant Qualifies

Trainee Accountant Steve Raines has qualified as a Chartered Accountant after completing his professional qualifications under the Dutton Moore Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers in-house training scheme.

Steve, 27, joined the city centre accountancy practice eight years ago straight from completing A Levels in Business, Economics, Sociology and Geography at Driffield School & Sixth Form.  He has successfully worked his way through his AAT and ACA professional examinations and is now fully qualified.

Partner at the firm, Doug Baker, who is in charge of the in-house training schemes, commented: “We are delighted that Steve has now fully qualified. It is testament to his hard work and dedication for completing his professional qualifications whilst working in a busy accountancy practice and gaining experience. The majority of our employees are home grown talent from the local area and we are pleased that Steve has now qualified and can forge ahead with his accountancy career with us.”

Steve added: “I have worked hard to gain my qualifications. I am proud that I made the decision after sixth form to go straight into work and training on an excellent in-house scheme. The hard work and effort has paid off and I am delighted to be moving on with my career at Dutton Moore.”

Dutton Moore has been practicing in this region for more than 100 years and is one of the largest independent accountancy firms, offering taxation, payroll, business start-up advice and financial services. They are an expanding firm with a 50-strong team of staff and 10 Partners operating out of city centre offices in Aldgate House in Market Place.
