Dutton Moore Supporting Local Children with Home Learning

With the latest current lockdown in force and thousands of parents across our city home learning with their children, the need has never been more acute for electronic learning devices at home.

The divide between those that have and those that have not has quickly become apparent and increasingly detrimental to some children. The team at Dutton Moore feel strongly that not child should be left behind based on circumstances or postcode.

In the run up to Christmas, staff at the city centre firm raised £400 through dress down Fridays’ at the office – and this week the Partners have matched that amount and bought and donated 2 brand new iPads to Adelaide Primary School in Walker Street, Hull.

Jonathan Moore, a Partner at Dutton Moore, commented: “These are testing times for so many families, especially for those that don’t have access to home leaning equipment. So, like several other businesses across the city, we are delighted to be playing our part in assisting with this crisis.”

Steve Kernan, Executive Headteacher for Adelaide, said: “We are incredibly grateful for this wonderful donation of two new iPads from Dutton Moore, they will really help us as we continue to support local families within our school community during this lockdown and beyond.”

Dutton Moore Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers, based at Aldgate House, in Market Place, Hull, have nearly 130 years of service within the region and have consistently been proud advocates of home-grown talent and forging careers in accountancy for many young people from local schools and colleges throughout the decades.

Tony Bullock, Managing Partner, added: “We are delighted to support the school communities in our city in whatever way we can whilst everyone finds there way through this current home-schooling lockdown.” Dutton Moore has a 70-strong team of staff offering a complete range of financial support services to a wide spectrum of businesses, organisations and individuals.
