Managing Partner leads successful large scale business sales

Tony Bullock, Managing Partner

Tony Bullock, Managing Partner at Dutton Moore has conducted a number of successful large-scale business sales over the past three months. As Managing Partner at one of the most successful accountancy practices in the region, Tony has led the sales for three clients from this region.

Accountancy expert Tony along with his team at the Market Place practice produced the figures, assisted on all the due diligence, the completion of accounts and perhaps most importantly the negotiations, tax advice and expert business advice.

Tony worked with Simon Gibson Haulage in Goole to sell to French company GCA. He worked with Ken Rooms (Hull) Ltd to sell to international company Greif Plc and finally the sale in May of Colt Industrial Ltd to Newcastle-based company Augean Plc.

Tony commented: “These types of negotiations and sales are large-scale and rely on a business having strong accountancy and financial advice in place. We are talking large figure sums and every area needs to be covered, checked and assessed. These kind of sales aren’t quick processes, due diligence has to be carried out effectively and our clients rely on us to give them expert and sound advice on every level.

“These three sales have all gone through successfully with million pound figures involved.”

Simon Gibson said: “If you want the best deal you need the best accountant in your team.”

Andy Warvill, Finance Director at Colt, added: “If it was not for the business acumen of Tony Bullock our deal may not have gone ahead.”
