Dutton Moore has a long history of investing in young local talent and has an enviable in-house training scheme backed up by the professional examinations. Scores of accountants and Partners joined Dutton Moore straight from school, college and university and have gone on to forge very successful careers at the city centre practice.
Tony Bullock, Managing Partner, said: "We are constantly investing in our future. It's good to stay local and work with local people – we have the talent here and it's important to harness it. Investing in our city and ultimately in our firm is a priority to us at Dutton Moore. We want to give the jobs we have available to people on our doorstep. The calibre of students historically has been very good and we are pleased to welcome the two new team members as they forge out successful careers with us."
Joe commented: "I'm really pleased to have been given this opportunity. It's an excellent alternative for me than going down the university path. I will ultimately end up with the same job and qualifications – this is just a quicker route to getting into my chosen career – and it doesn't saddle me with the costs that university would inevitably involve."
Jack added: "I feel as though I am getting on with my career straight away and I'm really pleased about my decision and to have this fantastic opportunity at one of the city's most respected accountancy firms."
