£100k Investment into Hull’s City Centre

Dutton Moore Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers is investing up to £100,000 in over-hauling their office facilities to remain an integral part of the city centre.

As many companies move out of the city centre, Dutton Moore has committed to staying put at their 11,500 sq foot Silver Street offices – in a move that show’s one of Hull’s oldest established companies commitment to invest in the local economy.

The money is being spent re-vamping the traditional Silver Street premises which has been home to the accountants for more than 40 years.

The partners have commissioned local artist Rhian Lonergan-White, from dare to know, to design three large scenes of representations of what is the very best of Hull. The images now adorn the walls of the reception area – one of them being 10ft long.

Tony Bullock, joint managing partner at Dutton Moore, said today: “This major investment is a reflection of our commitment to stay in the city centre when we have seen an increasing number of businesses move out over the last five years, including some of the banks and larger insurance brokers.

“This is a major investment in Hull’s central workplace and local economy and meets our business desire to drive forward the Dutton Moore brand in Hull. We are committed to remain a part of the future of the city centre of Hull.

“One aspect of the office re-vamp is the modern and spectacular paintings that have been commissioned for our reception. They give a new and very interesting dimension to our waiting area and prove Dutton Moore is firmly a part of, and proud of, what Hull has to offer.”
